Nylon fabric in the High Performance sector

Our new NyTech puncture protection has been developed based on the proven Continental SafetySystem Breaker safety system. Its nylon fabric makes it resistant to punctures and cuts like high-strength fibers reinforced with Kevlar, but offers lower rolling resistance and reduced weight. The NyTech Breaker sits between the SafetySystem and the PolyX Breaker® as the most effective puncture protection casing in the performance sector.

The new advanced compound

This technology, based on activated silica compounds, was originally intended as a performance level compound, but after intensive development at our Korbach Research and Development Department facility, a new advanced compound with excellent grip properties was developed. . This new rubber blend, which goes by the self-explanatory name "PureGrip", ranks just behind our BlackChili Compound and is used in our performance products in both the road and mountain bike sectors.
